Rajdeep Sardesai rejects Nishan-e-Pakistan. “Not so soon Imranji, my better yet to come” said Rajdeep.

The Nishan-e-Pakistan is the highest of civil awards and decorations given by the Government of Pakistan for the highest degree of service to the country and nation of Pakistan. The award was established on 19 March 1957.

Yesterday Imran Khan requested Rajdeep to accept this honorary award for his excellent work as a Pakistani ‘ambassador’ in Indian media. Unlike other honours, The Nishan-e-Pakistan is a highly restricted and most prestigious award and is only conferred for the merit and distinguished services to the country, international community, and foreign relations.

Sagarika was happy about the news but it didn’t last long.

Sagarika was supremely happy about the life time achievement of Rajdeep. But he was not in the state of accepting the award. “Not so soon, my better yet to come” he said, “maybe Imranji should wait for me to move permanently to Pakistan” Rajdeep whimpered as Sagarika deleted one of her old tweet.
